Hello again (NPC Baby Challenge)

Hey there,

I know, I didn't update this blog for an eternity. This was partly caused by a heavy illness I suffered from, which prevented me from even playing, let alone challenges.

But now that everything is okay again, I'll try to do weekly updates again.

Over the last week I started and finished a challenge I thought to be small and good for a start, but then it was longer than I expected. It's called the NPC Baby Challenge. The original post on modthesims.com was made by Lord St.Croix and can be found here: http://modthesims.info/showthread.php?t=515689 (not the first post of the thread, a little bit down....)

Here are the original Rules: Rules No cheats or mods that speed up relationships No cheats/mods that allow for an instant pregnancy The NPC must remain an NPC; in other words, no moving in, no marriage

NPCS for the challenge Since certain NPCs aren't safe to interact with/ only available with certain EPs these are the ones you should go after 1. Bartender 3. Maid 3. Cash register clerk 4. Firefighter 5. Gardener 6. Headmaster 7. Mail Carrier 8. Paper Boy 9. Pizza Guy 10. Police Officer 11. Grocery Deilvery Guy 12. Repairman 13. Burglar

Though I had a few issues with it and had to change some things here and there.

So, I created a new Neighborhood, added Bluewater Village, moved all the Binnies in, so we have a lively hood.

My main sim for this challenge, required to be female, is called Ailbhe Davies.

Forming all those relationships was very time-intensive so I guess you already assume that I used the elixir of life multiple times on her, let alone for the pregnancies.

Like I said before, I had a few issues. First, a good part of my service sims were female. To solve that problem I used the Tombstone of Life and Death. But only if they woohooed before, to keep it fair. I hope that's ok. Also with the teenage services, like the Newspaper Guy or the Cash register clerk I did the same when their relationship was high enough since they cannot woohoo. I almost trapped her once at a community lot though ;)

And what should I say, extraordinary things happened.

I just added the picture of the triplet and quads mod, so you can see, I didn't change anything on them. But then again, Ailbhe continued having multiplets. But first things first.

The first NPC that shared her bed was a police officer, which resulted in her first daughter, Etelka. Everytime she was pregnant, it, of course, gave me the opportunity to form relationships without having to work, though her LTW was to become a Celeb Chef.

I favorited the strategy of befriending them all first until the relationships reach 70, so afterwards it went pretty fast.

The second service she seduced was the Maid, also a female sim. There she had her first twins, a girl named Flannery and a boy named Adeodatus.

Afterwards she invited the Headmaster. He too went into her bed, but nevertheless refused to let Etelka visit the private school. Idk, but I somehow never achieve this. Later Ailbhe had his daughter Mahulena.

Afterwards she bought some plants to employ a gardener, who turned out to be female too. By her she had her first set of triplets, three girls named London, Louisa and Magnhild.

To have them she had to move into a new home. There is some bug that sometimes prevent the pregnant sims from giving birth. But it was time for a bigger home nevertheless. While Etelka enrolled in college Ailbhe had twins by a Firefighter, called Evelina and Fu.

She then visited a community lot to find a cash register clerk. I explained above how I handled that he was still a teen. By him she had another set of twins, called Aelred and Malvina.

Such a big family needs a lot of food, though the elder children visit college mostly. So she had to order groceries anyway. By the Delivery Guy she had a daughter called Emerson.

Afterwards she bought a bar to be able to employ a bartender. By him she had a daughter called Gertrude.

When Gertrude was born, suddenly every toilet in the house broke, idk why. I swear I didn't touch them. But thus Ailbhe could order a Repairman. By him she had Quadruplets, yes QUADRUPLETS. And I must say, they're like hell when they're small, but it's such a great feeling when they finally move out to college (some of them). They were three boys and a girl, named Albinus, Alexis, Amandus and Enheduanna.

Best part , afterwards she ordered some Pizza to attract the Pizza Delivery Guy, and by him she had triplets. Three girls names Layla, Lucasta and Emily. And I can tell you, seven little children plus still some older children, with only one adult is a bit too much. Especially when on one day every child wanted homework help.

To give you a time scale, by then she had, even though she went through all that pregnancies, accomplished her LTW.

The Newspaper Boy is sort of an easy target. He comes everyday, and if you give him some tips, he'll soon be your friend. Of course, for this challenge, he needs to father a child. So I made her pregnant via Tombstone of Life and Death when they were close. I know there are things like inteenimater, but I prefered having only a few big mods running in one game, and I already have triplets and quads and bigger households, which I deem more important. Anyways, little Lorna joined the family later.

With two more NPCs to woo, Ailbhe turned her attention to the Mail Carrier. By him she had twins again, a girl, Madison, and a boy, Ampelio.

Her last romance was with the burglar. He was one of the most trickiest, since he had to break in first, and afterwards the relationship is really bad, and all the children were angry on him. Nevertheless, in the end the twin girls Gemma and Margaret completed the challenge.

Below is a picture of the family tree. I somehow forgot to take a picture of Emerson though. I guess, with 26 children, you can forget a single photo.

You can find more pictures in a gallery.
